New Info . . .

To all of our faithful family and supporters out there, wherever you may be. Words cannot express the gratitude and love that we 'feel' when you come to visit us - or bless us with the things the Lord has placed on your heart.
There is absolutely no possible way we can thank you enough, but please know that you are loved and greatly appreciated by all of us here at Casa Esperanza.
Please take a moment to view our new Christmas video, an update on our construction project(s), and please email us with anything else YOU would like to see on this web page.
We pray that you had an awesome Christmas, and have a blessed new year.
Please continue to keep us in your prayers. Healing and salvation from the Lord.
From all of us, we love you.

Wow!

After struggling all night (3am) with this blog, found out that Safari (my Mac browser) is the culprit and the reason I was not able to arrange any elements on this page you are viewing . . . very frustrating, till I added the Firefox browser, and now everything works! Please stay tune for updates.
If you are experiencing (with blogsites - Mac users) the same problems, so far, this is the only solution -- you have to switch to another browser - Safari now has problems.
Shalom
Walt

Note . . .

For some reason this 'blog' was not allowing to make updates or changes correctly, which is the reason why it may look a bit lopsided. My apologies, and I hope to correct the 'look' here Lord willing tomorrow.

Profile in Courage

The week of July 5th gave us the birth of the Casa's first twins, Isaac & Abigail, shown here with proud mom Maria and daughter, Anadeli.
Due to circumstances too personal to share here, Maria (mother of 6) felt it was best to give her twins up for adoption. I personally know the couple who has been blesssed with these amazing kids, and I can honestly say this is the handiwork of the Lord.
Please pray for Maria, the adopting parents, and everyone involved - that this transition would be handled by the Lord, and God's will be done.
God has blessed me with the opportunity to be a part of this process, and truly Maria is a very courageous woman.

Col 3:14

"And beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity."
I'm often asked by groups and individuals coming out to our "Casa", " How can we help you? What do you guys need? " Besides all the other 'needs' at the Casa, my response is always the same, " just come out and put the Godly lovin' on these kids."
The Lord often reminds me of this song I use to sing in church way back in the day when I was a kid . . . don't remember all the words, but I do remember the chorus . . . " they will know that we are christians by our love. "
If you ever do make it out to the Casa, please, first and foremost, bless our kids with Godly, Holy Spirit inspired love, and the rest will take care of itself.
Shalom

Vision of Casa de Esperanza

Casa Esperanza is located 80 miles south of the U.S./Tijuana border and 15 miles south of Ensenada. Our goal is to introduce our Mexican women and children to a new life of healing and freedom through Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. While they reside at the "Casa", the goal is to disciple them to grow in the knowledge and grace of God through His Word. When they leave the Casa, our prayer is that they will continue to live as women of faith and quality, trusting the Lord and sharing God's love and the gospel of Jesus Christ with others. We pray that the children will also come to know God's great love for them, and learn to obey Him and understand that He has a plan for their lives.

Our Casa Program

When a family enters the "Casa" they agree to attend our discipleship program which includes a comprehensive bible study for women, parenting classes, adult education, and marriage classes. Reading, math, and writing skill classes are also available. The program continues monthly along with job training skills, all taught in a practical hands-on way at the Casa Esperanza.
Money earned by each mom can be used to purchase a small plot of land to build a home for her family, or for further schooling.
